Don't Send Me a Good Morning Text!

Now I already can feel all the defensive responses and "who hurt you?!" comments, but here we go!

I don't like "Good Morning" text...
I realized recently during my short 9 months of begin single and receiving "Good Morning" text by random people, that I am NOT A FAN. No, it's not because I was scared by an ex. But getting blown up at 9am by not just one person (not bragging at all) has made me notice this trend which has added a little ice in my veins.
First let me start of with - yes you can disagree with my cold hearted opinion. I've already debated with my friends on this topic. Some agreeing with my extreme reasons and some are still caught up by the romance.
Here's what a "Good Morning" text from someone (I am not seriously dating) means to me:
1) "Good morning!" or "Good morning, how are you?" translates to "I know it's the beginning of the day, but I want to start a conversation with you on a weekday at 9am, because I am bored."
Harsh, I know, but a text at 9am while you're probably at work tells me that your focus isn't where it should be.
2) Sending a text at 9am on a weekday, when you know more than likely I am at work.
Now this just comes off as disrespectful. "I am bored, so I want you to entertain me." Again, probably a little harsh and not the thought that goes through the mind of the sender, but not taking into consideration that the person you're messaging is not busy means there's a belief that they have nothing to better to do, but to talk..

3) Don't continuously text me, when I don't reply to your "Good Morning" text.
Personally for me I don't respond when I get the "Good Morning" text, because I am at work working and I don't want to distract myself answering first date questions like "what books do you like to read?" every 2 minutes. However, sending me "what do you got going on today?" after I leave your "Good Morning" text on READ should tell you that I obviously got enough going on to not reply. Just a thought.
Now I am not completely anti-romance. I do like close-ended "good morning" text. Getting "Good morning! Just thinking of you! I hope you have a great day!" is a great "Good Morning" text! I LOVE those messages. Get's your point across that you are thinking of that person, but you know that you can talk to them when their day hasn't just started. Also, great pep talk to start the day with.
Feel free to comment with your own thoughts, opinions, or even personal stories. No one's "right" especially myself, but maybe this can give my future husband a heads up on how to communicate with me.
